cute card thursday and another use for "that" punch

this weeks challenge over at cute card thursday is a "marshmallow and chocolate" colour scheme, for this one i've gone more for the milk and white chocolate with marshmallow look rather than dark chocolate,

the image is a sugar nellie "maggie with flowers" coloured with promarkers then cut with the circle and scalloped nesties and then mounted onto a sizzix hexagon, the paper is forever friends, the edges are inked with tea dye distress ink, the sentiment is cuddly buddly and the ribbon is from stash, the brad is papermania and the spacer from ebay, the flowers are prima and cut with an xcut punch and the larger outer flower was a bit of an experiment ....

i cut some hearts out with a sizzix die and embossed on the back of them with a large embossing tool to give them some dimension, then scored down the center of the heart, but before sticking them onto a small circle of card to form the flower shape, i thought... what would they look like if i punched the edges of the hearts in the MS doily punch to get a lacy pattern, now i cant say i've ever seen a flower in the wild that looks like this but the effect is sort of growing on me lol, i think i might have to have a play with my other punches and see what happens,

have a good Easter everyone

thanks for popping in

hugs
