the sugar bowl

phew !! didn't think i'd get here today i had sooo much to do, but here i am better late than never!!!

over at the sugar bowl the challenge is to make a card for a male, i find these really difficult to do and i sat looking at the stamp i'd chosen ( he's one of my favourite sugar nellies) thinking what the heck am i going to do with him??? then it hit me.... i'd been staring at him for about 10 mins and thought yep i'll do the layout like his overalls so here he is ....

no design papers this time just basill bling for the dungarees, card from my stash for his shirt ribbon from my stash for the braces, the buckles are cut with a sizzix die,the faux stitching with a black marker, the buttons are from my stash and i raised the image up on foam pads

Thanks for popping in

Hugs

Hi Helen

Your card is wonderful!! I love what you have done for the background. The image is great and those little tools .. .. oh I could go on for ever!

It reminds me of the little dungarees I used to dress my youngest boy in when he was a toddler. I used to make them and put little images on them like this. Happy Days!!

Love Jules xx
